Cookie Policy

Last updated: 13 June 2026

This policy explains how the Cornerly platform, operated by Aiqon Limited, uses cookies and similar technologies, in line with the ePrivacy Regulations 2011 (S.I. No. 336/2011) and the GDPR.

1. What cookies and storage we use

We use only strictly necessary cookies and local storage — the minimum required for the Service to function. We do not use advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking cookies.

  • Session cookie (essential). Keeps a signed-in user securely authenticated in the admin. Expires when the session ends or you sign out. It cannot be switched off while you are logged in.
  • Basket (local storage, essential). A Customer’s basket is held in their browser’s local storage so it survives a page refresh. It stays on the device and is cleared when the order is placed or the browser data is cleared.
  • Theme / preferences (local storage, functional). Remembers small interface preferences (e.g. light/dark mode). No personal data.

2. Consent

Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent under the ePrivacy rules, so we do not show a consent banner. If we ever introduce analytics or marketing cookies, we will ask for your consent first, provide a way to manage your choices, and update this policy.

3. Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings, but blocking the essential ones will stop you from signing in or completing an order.
